I’m Ella.

I found Pilates during a season of grief and uncertainty. It was the only form of exercise that allowed me to completely turn my brain off and dial into my body. I quickly became obsessed and on a whim, I enrolled in teacher training in 2022 just for fun.

I never intended to teach, I just wanted to vibe and have some fun. Life had other plans for me.

In early 2023 I took a break from my primary career and didn’t know what to do, I moved back to the east coast and took up teaching as “side gig” to get out of the house. Within a matter of weeks I found myself working full time as a Pilates instructor and experiencing a true joy in my work for the first time ever in my life.

I’d unintentionally found my life’s purpose.

There is truly nothing more rewarding than walking alongside people on their fitness journey. Although my clients have ranged in age, gender, ability, and goals — they all find Pilates as a means to feel and move better in their bodies. I am deeply passionate and honored to be able to do that with them.

Flash forward to a few years later, I was back in San Diego and although I’d worked at a few studios out here I liked, I wanted to find my pilates home, but nothing was really vibing for me as a teacher or student.

So I built it myself.

The Pilates Studio is a third space. A place to learn, grow, and practice. I want my clients to walk in here and exhale — whether its for exercise, connection, or both — this space is designed to welcome all and meet you where you are in your body.

I can’t wait to see you at the studio.
